Unlocked Spaces

“We move through memory like a house of shifting rooms...some are lit, some are locked, and some have doors we were told never to open… or so we believed.” ~Labelle

Current Project

Layered Compositions

My layered compositions draw inspiration from traditional printmaking, reinterpreting its techniques through a modern lens. Instead of creating an image on a fixed plate and then applying ink to it, I build my images digitally. I use my tablet to shape the artwork in layers, refining it as I go.

Once the image feels complete, the final version is then transferred onto watercolour paper, bridging the digital and physical process. It’s an approach that honours both tradition and innovation.
